The season is open! Time to start tromping in the fields.

We are only a couple of weeks away from our first meet of this season in Kankakee...Saturday November 10, 2018. Right now, leaves are still up and brush is still high, but who said it wouldn't be a challenge. Perhaps that may change before we meet, but if not, who cares.

Travel conditions aren't usually a problem for early and late season meets, and hopefully that will be the case again. But as the season progresses, winter hawking will soon be upon us so be mindful that turnout is subject to individual perceptions of weather conditions and ability to travel the roads safely.
