Peregrines nesting in Peoria
I thought a few might be interested in this article that was in our local paper this morning:

I took some video and photographs of them in 2005, but had been watching them a while earlier. I told Susie Armstrong, the building manager at the time, that we had something very outstanding going on on her building and to let everyone working in the building not to disturb them. I was told by a maintenance man that he thought they were osprey and he was swatting at them with a broom when they flew near him. I contacted a few people about them and they did run a newspaper story many years ago that showed one of my photos I had taken. Jim Robison called me when I was still working in the building and I told him I thought there were eight individual peregrines that I had seen at different times perched on the building at different times and I even spotted a pair mating on the building. He mentioned to me he was going to put up a nest box, which he did back then.
